Welcome to my Underwear Affair Personal Page! As you can see, I'm
running again this year in the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s
Underwear Affair - a 10K run / 5K walk to uncover cures for cancers
below the waist. It’s not only fun, but it fights prostate,
colon, testicular, and ovarian cancer, among others.
I lost my mom in April 2001 to ovarian cancer. It was and remains a
devastating loss to me personally and my entire family. My kids lost
one of their greatest champions and also all those precious years to
spend with her. She was wonderful, funny, loving and everything a mom
should be. So I'm running in memory of her, those who also lost their
battle, those currently fighting and those who will kick cancer's ass!!
I will also let the highest donation choose my outfit. (NO g-strings or
anything see through). Barring that..garter belt, fishnet stockings,
push up bra...whatever gets those dollars going...I'll do! So bring on
the moola and let's see an end to this disease in all of it's forms.
Don’t be shy - it’s about giving these devastating cancers
some exposure and shedding some light on their cures. So please help me
in my effort to raise money for care and research for cancers "down
there!"
